Karachi, Pakistan — open to work

Precision engineering, from lecture halls to production.

I'm Abdul Moazzim, a Computer Systems Engineering student at NED University and a MERN stack developer. I build platforms across fintech, renewable energy, and education, while preparing for graduate research in machine learning.

How I work

I'm moving away from quick, improvised code toward deliberate engineering: typed interfaces, documented decisions, and systems built so someone else could pick them up without a walkthrough. Good software should be legible before it's clever.

I'd rather spend an extra hour on the interface between two modules than debug their coupling for a week later. Naming, structure, and constraints matter more to me than raw output — a slower, well-reasoned solution beats a fast one that only I can explain.

Data Cleaning & EDA Portfolio

Five datasets, five distinct cleaning challenges

Five real-world datasets chosen to not overlap — inconsistent units, text-encoded numbers, heavy uneven missingness, multi-year schema drift, and nested JSON-like fields — each taken from a missing-value audit through to a full exploratory analysis with a documented, justified decision log rather than silent fixes.

Uni Resource Allocator

Multi-tenant resource allocation for institutions

A service institutions use to manage themselves: a super admin provisions institution accounts, each institution creates departments and hires teachers, department heads enroll students, and students view their timetables — all scoped per institution.

GitForge

GitHub profile README generator

A small tool that turns a form into a polished GitHub profile README — fill in your details, and it generates ready-to-paste markdown, no hand-writing badges or formatting from scratch.

Global Sustainability Challenge

Global Finalist, representing EmpowerGEN Pakistan

I served as Technical Lead for EmpowerGEN Pakistan, a bilingual (English/Urdu, RTL-aware) platform for solar energy access and community empowerment, through the Global Sustainability Challenge, carrying the project from its architecture through to the Global Finals.

The brief was to design technology that makes a real difference for underserved communities, not just a working demo. Leading the technical side meant owning the build end to end: the Server Component data-fetching architecture, the English/Urdu localization, and the polish that turns a prototype into something a judging panel and, eventually, real users can trust.
